Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents are Russian as well as a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent with German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11, which appeared on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. After completing the high school level at the age of 11 in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. The classes she took in acting were in the HB Studios. She later left to pursue improvisational comedy at The Groundlings School. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. In her teens, her parents divorced and she left Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell as well as Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best TV performance. She has had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
